The Dan Journal #304. Tasted 9/27/09. 22oz bomber. Filtered with a reddish golden hue. Off-white ring of head. Aromas of bready malts and citrus. Grapefruit and orange notes. Full bodied with a bright palate and overt bitterness. Nice astringent effervescence, Grassy and hop dominant palate. Very tasty.

Bomber. Hazy orange with white thin head. Aroma is sweet hoppy and melon fruit with some citrus, maybe a little piney. Flavor is sweet and malty (little too sweet) and caramel also from malts. Easy throughout for relatively bigger booze. Hoppy finish.

A little light for my taste but in all fairness I must rate it well. Great balance of hops and citrus notes. The citrus lingers on my palete. Good experience.

courtesy of fiulijn - clear amber-orange colour with a little persistent beige foam; very perfumy hoppy aroma with notes of quince marmalade, cream and flowers; low carbonation, medium-bodied, solidly bitter, long bitter fruity and flowery finish

Poured from a 20oz bottle, reddish-orange and opaque. Great balance of hops and malt. Floral and a little nutty. Pretty darn good.
