| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 8, 2009 Courtesy of keifdog. Pours a very striking clear copper with thin white head. The aroma has notes of crystal malts, spice, floral hops and a bit of fruity esters. The taste has a nice rich malt to crystal malt goodness moving then into a modest level of pine and grapefruit hop flavor. Quickly the hop flavors pick up a mild level of bitterness. But the late addition to the boil hop flavor remains the dominant feature all the while supported by a tasty level of maltiness. fredandboboflo (1431), East Setauket, New York, USA
