Commercial Description:
Unconventional. Uncompromising. A Deschutes original. This IPA style beer utilizes hops in a way never attempted by our brewers, evident in both aroma and flavor. Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very sweet with strong notes of peaches and some hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, peaches, and hops, leading to a bitter fruity finish. The alcohol leaves a slight burn on the tongue.

Bottle 65 cl. Clear amber with a lacing off-white head. Sweet, citrusy hop aroma with a peachy edge also. Medium body, sweet caramel and fruits - quite sweet actually. Discreetly bitter finish. A very pleasant if a little sweet IPA. 130909

22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry hoppy, light brettish. Crisp hoppy, light fruity and with a vague sweetness coming through. Bitter and mild mango fruity flavoured into a smooth finish. Smooth and nice.

Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090913]

Bottle at Papsø. Clear amber coloured with a small white head. Fruity aroma of hops, pine needles and grape fruits. Fruity flavour of hops, pine needles and grape fruits. Hoppy finish.

(2nd Shenandoah Throwdown, 220z bottle, thanks yobdoog) Clear amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, pine, some grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, pine/grapefruit, light bread. Medium body, some resin.

22oz bottle. Poured a medium and clear amber color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of pine, floral hops, and some citrus. Tastes of pine, toastiness, the same floral hoppiness, and some caramel in the background. Body on the thinner and weaker side.
