From a 22 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. Nose is full of Pacific NW hops. Citrusy and a little toast. Clear amber with a half inch tan head. Clean bitterness up front with a bitter orange peel flavor from the hops. Malt is clean and not heavy or sweet with a bit of that toasty character coming through. Bitterness lingers on the tongue, although mouthfeel is fairly crisp and dry for the strength. A very nice IPA

Dec 6, 2009 650 ml bottle. Dark golden body with a big, creamy off-white head. Nice citric/peaches aroma. Flavor is sweet, caramel malt, rather bitter, citric fruity and some mild grapefruit. Medium body, refreshing even being a bit sweet, nice fruity/bitter balance.

Nov 24, 2009 The Dan Journal #304. Tasted 9/27/09. 22oz bomber. Filtered with a reddish golden hue. Off-white ring of head. Aromas of bready malts and citrus. Grapefruit and orange notes. Full bodied with a bright palate and overt bitterness. Nice astringent effervescence, Grassy and hop dominant palate. Very tasty.

Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Nov 14, 2009 Nice orange pour with a thick head. Spicy citrus, pine hop aroma with a nice malt base. Smooth malt balanced nicely with grapefruit bitterness. Very good.

Nov 10, 2009 Bomber. Hazy orange with white thin head. Aroma is sweet hoppy and melon fruit with some citrus, maybe a little piney. Flavor is sweet and malty (little too sweet) and caramel also from malts. Easy throughout for relatively bigger booze. Hoppy finish.
