poisoneddwarf (153), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA Oct 23, 2009 12 oz bottle. Smells piney, citrusy, grainy. Pours cloudy gold with little head, good lacing. Tastes fruity--pineapple and mango definitely. Thin body, low carbonation, malt in the aftertaste. This is unlike any pale ale I’ve ever had. I’m not sure they got the category right on this one. brenn79 (140), Idaho, USA Oct 17, 2009 12 oz bottle- Pours golden with a thick head that doesn’t disappear immediately. Tastes of mild hops and mellow malt. This is a very drinkable beer. Of all the Deschutes beers I was looking forward to this the least, but I was pleasantly suprised. jbye4334 (652), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 3, 2009 (bottle). Light golden/orange color with light cloudiness. Medium off white head. Strong floral hop aroma. Moderate floral hop flavor with light bitterness. Avg duration. Thin/slick texture. Soft carbonation. Fair lacing. Taverner (825), San Ramon, California, USA Oct 2, 2009 Sweet and bready. Pours copper with thin white head. Lots of bread notes. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Aroma is clean and bready drjay44 (757), Salida, Colorado, USA Sep 25, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin white head, with some lacing, over a clear yellow SRM 6) body......nose is cereal and sweet malts.....taste is light malt and light hops with grapefruit and floral tones....mouth feel is light, carbonation is medium. This is a pleasant light summery ale. Tasted 8/30/09. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA Sep 24, 2009 Bottle from the Town and Country Market in Winters, CA. Not much to say about this one. A very non-descript beer with a little bit of malt sweetness with a little bit of hop finish. Not bad, but not something I would seek out. alagnak (293), Littleton, Colorado, USA Sep 22, 2009 Bottle. Nose is citrus and caramel malt. Flavor is kind of dirty malt and grain up front, fading to a subdued but nice hop bitterness and an interesting sweetness - almost like honey lemon tea. Prettty bland and a little muddled, but decent enough.
