Pours a mostly clear, golden color with a fairly small, pillowy-rocky, white head with fair longeviy and minimal lace. Nose is fair at best; grass, bread notes, and a hint of citrus. Flavor is similar with some sweet grains, light citrus and grassy hops bringing a moderately light bitterness. Palate is nearly light, almost fizzy, and crisp. Finishes very short and a little bitter. Nothing special, just a nice summer golden ale.

Pale copper color, light head. Nose is fresh bread and a hint of citrus. Beer is well balanced, with some honey, grain, and grapefruit lingering on the finish. A bit thin, and rather banal, but on a hot day it’ll do just fine.

bottle. hazy light tan with a sticky white head with large bubbles. yeah, i get the hops in the nose, floral, grassy, resinlike scent with some light orange peel scents. it’s really cool to look at if it is poured right after taking from the fridge. looks like something in stasis, like the carbonation bubbles are just stuck in the middle of my glass while others near the outside roll up the sides. first taste to hit me is the bitterness when i take a sip. grapefruit & grass mix well. a lingering citrus in the finish. enjoyable fruity malt flavor keeps this relatively balanced. just a touch of caramel like sweetness comes through w/a bit of butter. the only real negative here is the bitterness can start to taste a bit burnt & the nose is a touch metallic/wet asphalt. but i’m not upset i bought a six pack. i like the carbonation level here too. it seems a bit higher than normal & really works well w/the flavors in this to bring them out. there is a nice dough like sweetness that i want to say is marris otter? but who knows, it reminds me of maris otter, so i’ll stick with that. 576414

12 oz. bottle. A solidly average summer seasonal. Dark straw color, weak head, nice clean hop presence in nose and flavor. I prefer the Pine Mountain Pils over this one, but Twilight is drinkable.

Bottle. Pale orange tangerine. Thin white head. Not much aroma, increases in strength as the beer warms. Mild bitterness n the flavour. Slight lingering finish. This is a drinkable hot weather beer, well balanced, but nothing to rave about.

Slightly hazy golden amber. Light aroma with grassy (Willamette?) boring hop. Same on the palate - painfully boring and a real buzzkill. It’s well made - you can’t fault the balance or any of that stuff - but it is pretty far from inspirational.

Slightly foggy orange amber, thin white head. Aroma is floral and citrus hoppiness, slight caramel note, pretty decent aroma. Taste is grapefruit, orange, light hoppiness, pretty fruity.

best by 10-10-06...last year’s seasonal. pale orange color...aroma of citrus, sweet malt and hay. flavors of lame hop citrus, black pepper and caramel. kinda meh, but they do go down easily
