| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Oct 3, 2006 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a typically carbonated orange colored body. The aroma was hoppy malty bready and dough. The mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The mild IPA hoppy like flavor contained notes of malt and hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Very drinkable. walleye (879), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA

Orange-gold, slight haze, with no head. Caramel and a minerally yeast note dominate a fairly bland nose. A little malt sweetness lies beneath a sharp yeast and nettle-like hop dominated flavour. Light-medium weight, medium carbonation. Rather lifeless. Hopefully it’s lost something on the way here. brianprentiss (475), Portland, Oregon, USA

It’s pretty unique and a good fit for the ambience the label calls for - okay, I’m a sucker. But worth a try, anything from Deshutes is worth a try. hopscotch (5504), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Walked outside in the stiff breeze and checked out everyone’s damage. Some folks lost roofs, windows and doors. Most other houses lost a couple dozen shingles. All told, we lost seven shingles… that’s all. God watches over babies and drunks, I guess. Anyway, back to the beer… lightly hazy, apricot-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The nose is of wildflower honey. Perfectly balanced flavor but a bit thin and bland. Light to medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Lengthy, mildly bitter, dry, and finally, grassy finish. Thanks go out to kenb for the bottle!
