Aroma: Lots going on here... toasty, yeasty, slightly resiny, citrusy and floral.
Palate: medium light body with restrained amount of carbonation a very easy drinking beer
Flavor: Soft fruits, citrusy (orange and lemon) spicy in the finish. Finishes fairly dry and sightly creamy
Overall: A drinkable seasonal beer from deschutes... for a seasonal beer has all the pieces somehow does not come together. Hop flavor seems a little harsh for the malt which seems to want to catch up. Classified as a bitter... all the pices are there... just not tied together madcow75 (425), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 4, 2006 Beer’s a clear, medium, gold color with a small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing head. The aroma is malty with light notes of toasted grain; Hoppy with moderate notes of resin/pine, grapfruit, and herb; Yeasty with light-to-moderate notes of dough; Light miscellaneous note of plastic. The flavor is moderately-to-heavily bitter, light sweet with a long, moderate-to-heavily bitter/grippy, lightly sweet finish. The body is light-to-medium, the texture is watery-to-velvety and the carbonation is lively. sloth (1678), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 21, 2006 Small white head, retention is fair with a touch of slinky lace. Hazy gold colored brew. Light citrus notes in the nose with a hint of malt. Light bodied, popish. Light bready maltiness with more restrained citrusy flavors and maybe a bit flowery. Dry, light, fruity finish.
