Pours amber with a quick fading white head. Aroma is of grassy hops and grains. Flavor is of those same grassy hops and a note of lemon citrus. Also some light grains. Crisp and clean on the palate and fairly light and carbonated. A decent dry finish. Not a bad summer brew. Easy drinking but not real memorable. FoolishMortal (965), San Diego, California, USA

Muted grassy hop notes, with a faint maltiness in the aroma. Grassy and floral hop flavors complemented by mild malt accents. Some astringency in the finish. Mouthfeel is light slightly dry. matta (1139), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours a pale copper body and a bountiful white head. The aroma brings a wonderful cereal sweet maltyness blended with a grassy and lightly bitter finish. There is a nice multigrain beady likeness here…. Buttered toast and calm fruity flavor…the finish comes across crisp and dry with a sprucy & spicy hoppy finish…. As a newfound fan of session beer, this is a triumph! kyzr (1123), Belgrade, Montana, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 22, 2005 Enjoyable ale with a nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. Poured a hazy amber, golden with a white head. The aroma hints at the taste: Malts and hops. The flavor was citrusy and sweet over the top of a strong, lingering bitterness from the hops. Medium, slightly clinging body that seems to be a characteristic of Deschutes. mreeves (257), Sammamish, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 21, 2005 Deep golden color, not much head or lacing. Light floral aroma, fairly hoppy with a bitter aftertaste, but not in a bad way. Reminds me a little of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, but not as good. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA

Light palate, inital sweet peachy fruitiness, turns dry with an emphasised bitterness in the finish that lingers long. 3daddict (139), Portland, Maine, USA

Nice floral citrus hop aroma. Malts blend nicely with hops delivering a light but flavorful taste. Finishes with subtle sweet fruit tones with quick hop hit.
