Flavor matches with a touch of lemon. Palate is clean. It was pretty hot out and we had been walking around shopping so this 8 oz went down in minutes... next. raphael (415), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 10, 2009 Tap - clear golden brew - fizzy body - moderate head - nose of toasted grains and dry, herbal hops - the flavor is a bit muddled and indistinct - nondescript maltiness and dry, crisp bitterness - not a whole hell of a lot going on, but it went well with my burrito. wyzzywyz22 (786), Wirral, Merseyside, England
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 10, 2009 Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Poured a pallid gold with a thin white head. Sweet fruit in the nose. Really rather uninspiring flavour. Some vague malt and smothered hop, but nothing is really allowed to shine. Certainly glaggable but a bit of a drab disappointment on the whole. Inviting smell of apricote. Malt-fruity taste with underlying dry yeast and smooth bitterness to the ending. Easy to drink, refreshing and moreish (London, 05.08.2009). scoth (279), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

Lovely.
Light, well balanced, crisp. Nice light hoppy nose--smelled a bit cascade-ish. Very clean hop punch (only slightly lemon-grass citrus--mostly crisp cascady hop) that slides out into a lovely, lingering light malt finish. Welcome, moderate carbonation through thin mouth feel. Oh and a few minutes later I’ve got the faintest sweet grass mouth taste.
I’m not sure what to do with this--I have no complaints.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Golden yellow color, slight citrus in the taste, very sessionable beer, I crushed four of these the first night I bought the sixer and the other two the next day. The smell is pretty faint, maybe honey and some lemon. This beer is very drinkable and again confirms to me that I can’t go wrong with a new Deschutes beer.
