Draught @ the Portland Brew Pub poured into Imperial Pint glass. Pours a faint golden orange with a creamy white head that lasts and eventually creates a nice ring on the edges of the glass. Aroma has orange peel, lemon zest and some sweet caramel malts. Flavor is very light with citrus hops and caramel malt. It has a medium body with plenty of carbonation. Definitely a sessionable ale, a bit sweet but I won’t hold that against it.

Unfiltered amber coloured body with a nice bright tan head. Aroma of malt with a bit of nuts and some mild hops. Nice full-bodied taste; Strong malt up front with nuts and a touch of hops, not much in this one though. Aftertaste shows some mild flavours, but not much complexity. Overall, a decent beer - but not great. I sampled this beer on draught at Henry’s 12th St Tavern in Portland, Oregon on 09-September-2006.

A somewhat boring bitter. Aroma and taste were both identical. Sweet caramel with a hint of bitter hops. The carbonation was so so. There was also an underlying toffee in there that was different, but good. Wouldn’t drink again, but not terrible.

Tap at Papago. Pours a dark golden color for a blonde with a nice white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Brimming with lemon zest on the nose with notes of red apples, hay, and ornage citrus in the flavor. Crisp.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Grapefruit aroma. Light grapefruit flavor with malt. Medium-light bodied. Easy drinking. Light grapefruit lingers with light spice and some light astringency.
