Dec 24, 2008 Draft @ Bond Street Brewpub, Bend OR. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. Has a sweetish malty hoppy aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweetish malty hoppy caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty and slightly hoppy finish.

Dec 21, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours clear gold. Nothing special in the aroma, but it has a nice hoppy and sweet balance. Flavor is less impressive. Fair amount of hop, but mostly sour and peppery, which does not suit this style at all.

Dec 8, 2008 I have a long, deep and abiding love for the Deschutes brewery, but this is honestly one of the worst microbrewed beers I have ever had the displeasure of tasting. It pours a nasty light yellow color with an overly carbonated head. Has a big malt flavor with minimal hops in the back and a nasty mouthfeel that makes me want to puke. As a matter of fact, my girlfriend at the time that I sampled this did throw up after drinking one of these!

Nov 30, 2008 Thanks to Homerwantsbeer for sharing a bottle. This beer is a lightly clouded yellow-gold color with a medium thin and bubbly white head that dissipates steadily. Top ring of lacing with rings underneath. The aroma is hoppy with notes of caramel and citrus. Medium, clean body with flavors of caramel malt, peach and light hops. The finish is lightly hoppy with a touch of lemon zing in the aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, dusty, cabbage. from a 6-pack out of Texas Liquor, Carlsbad, CA: translucent straw-orange body with medium white head that leaves moderate lacing; primary qualities--low bitterness, low sweetness; flavors or aromas noted--medium orange and citrus (accrediting the beer with its juiciness), medium graininess, light caramel; pretty typical beer--easy to drink, but boring.

Oct 25, 2008 A nice blend of hops that isn’t overpowering and mixes with the malt to create a solid body. Solid amber, with a decent price tag.
