Very hard to rate this brew.. If it is a blond ale then it failed. If it is extra pale ale then it was rather nice. Pours a Sunset orange with fizzy white head that goes away quick. Smells of some pine and light sugar notes. Light to medium body with ok carbonation and a crisp finish that is smooth. Flavor is hoppy but balanced. some citrus fruit orange and lemon and some light sugar notes. It is a nice summer brew... This is one beer I prefer to drink From the bottle. It seems to get lost in a glass and is not very good from the bottle.

On tap at GBBF: Very sweet in the mouth but honeyed and hoppy to the nose. Sweet and smooth but a little sticky.

Sampled at The Big Pour beerfest in Scottsdale AZ. Hazy deep golden colour, aroma of sweet malts, slightly reedy, with lighter citrus peel notes. Lighter body, with the same slightly pithy citrus hop character. After having had a few good IPAs, I think my palate may have been a bit numb to this one!

Very light orange. Not much retention on a small head. Smells great to me, like fresh tangerines and wheat. I get the tangerines and wheat in the taste as well, minimal hop presence and a little lemon. Sweet and dry. This is made to be a delightful session summer and it hit wonderfully. I think people under rate this beer way too much, sit back and judge the first, then have five more!

Maybe I got to this too late but Im not feeling it. Its on the sweet side with some mellow floral notes. Cant bare to rate the palate on any non-light beer lower than 3 but this is very thin. Everything is so subdued. Its a fine beer but I will not be looking forward to this as a seasonal.

12 oz bottle. Smells piney, citrusy, grainy. Pours cloudy gold with little head, good lacing. Tastes fruity--pineapple and mango definitely. Thin body, low carbonation, malt in the aftertaste. This is unlike any pale ale I’ve ever had. I’m not sure they got the category right on this one.
