It’s very cool that all of the breweries made their own version of HB51, the DE version is the first one I’ve tried. Pours a cloudy bright orange with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is lots of rich malts, sweet but light caramel and light hops. The flavor is dominated by a earthy and kind of funky German malt. Light citrus hops and some fruity apricot round it out. Quite easygoing and nice.
