On tap @ the Desert Edge Brewpub. Pours clear gold with bright white head. It has a light aroma with a pulse of grainy malts followed by sweet lager like malt sweetness. The taste is much the same with a bit of citrus then malty grains then a hint of banana. It ends dry and malty. Nice session brew.

On tap at the brewpub. Listed as Summertime Kristalweizen. Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. The aroma was very light; some grain perhaps. The taste was your basic Lager; with some light citrus and malt, but with a very nice dry finish that distinguished this beer.

A great beer if you want a lighter version of a weizen, we (some friends) tried this a month or so ago and were immediately impressed. I’m not the biggest Hefiweizen conesuer but I enjoyed every bit of this lighter verson, crisp finish, full flavored. It delivers.

Great Utah Beer Run – Summer 2007
On Tap – There summer beer I was hoping this would hit the mark for the last beer of the day. Light in aroma, with very little malt or spices coming through. Golden pale in color with a thin head. Light malty beer with little spices and flavors. This was a weak version of something to be a weizen beer. Really was hard to finish. PBR’s little cousin.
