Love the name.

On cask @ the Desert Edge Brewpub. Pours deep dark with amber edges and thin tan head. The aroma is full with roasty dark malts, some hints of chocolate and coffee. I also get a sense of a sweeter note that seems like caramel or molasses. The taste is roasty mixing with some mild tart malt astringency. It becomes mildly coffee along with sweeter caramelized malts and chocolate. Very nice.

On tap at the Desert Edge brewpub. A dark brew with a medium head and body. The taste is roasted malt and coffee flavor with a hint of fruit. Not bad.

Great Utah Beer Run – Summer 2007
On Tap – Dark brown with some light getting through due to being weak in malts. High coffee and chocolate aromas in the nose. This lacked the flavor to back up the great aroma. The Utah Laws killed this beer needed more malts and this would have rocked. Watery in flavor

Mountain Brewers Beer Fest 2006. Appearance not judged due to opaque plastic tasting cup. Molasses, coffree, toated armona, light. Very light on the hops. creamy. unimpressive
