shendrix (435), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA May 17, 2008 A very dark red, with caramelized hops set off against butterscotch on the palate.
Optigon (546), Bloomington, Indiana, USA May 27, 2008 Pours dark red with a fine, white head. Flavor is butterscotch with a pleasant hop bitterness. I consider this a good hop bitterness. Reminds me a bit of Leinenkugel’s Red. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/07/2007

clear dark red, frothy dirty white head, drippy lace, light dry malt aroma, tart malt flavor, strong woody cherry character, hint of sweetness adds balance, would make a nice flanders red
