Oct 13, 2009 Bottle. Poured clear, light amber color tiny white head. Earthy, malty aroma with something sweet (I thought pear). Tasted very sweet with a bit of sourness. A tiny bit of hop bitterness, and caramel for a split second before the aftertaste. Palate was standard for a lager. Easy to drink.

May 18, 2009 Bottle from Siciliano’s Market, Grand Rapids, MI. Clear straw color with infection large bubble head that settled to medium white head with lacing. Aroma is slightly sour with dry caramel malt and green apple. Slight sour flavor as well but very dry, green apple and light spicey hop notes, a little herbally as well. Medium body with creamy carbonation. I guarentee that this is not what the brewer intended but it actually turned out very drinkable an dinteresting.

Mar 10, 2009 Draft sample at MBG Winterfest 2009.
Poured a clear pale color with a moderate fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hop aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
Soft drinkable brew.

Nov 28, 2008 Being from Michigan I naturally needed to try this one. Not too bad, it poured golden with light lacing around the rim. Just a hint of hops and perhaps a citrus taste. I enjoyed from a 12 ounce bottle, but would have preferred from tap.

Sep 3, 2008 on tap-pours a disappearing white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet grain. Taste is sweet grain, secondary/faint earthy hops. Light side of medium body.

May 19, 2008 Tasted 4/28/08. 12oz bottle. Filtered with a golden hue. White layer of head. Grainy nose. Light bodied and crisp. Mildly tart. Easy and smooth. Touch off dry and grainy. Totally solid for the style, but the style itself lacks a certain degree of palate. But good for what it is!
