jcwattsrugger (4272), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 4, 2008 on tap-pours a rich off white head that laces and amber color. Aroma is sweet pine/citrus (cascade), secondary medium malt. Taste is sweet pine/citrus-bitter (cascade), secondary medium malt. Medium body. OK carbonation. Optigon (561), Bloomington, Indiana, USA May 27, 2008 Pours cloudy, amber, with a fine, white head. Aroma is really strong with hops. Flavor has a lot of hop flavor with a bit of over-bitterness for my tastes. Not bad. The malt undertones create a good backdrop to feature the hops. Tmoney99 (3819), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Dec 20, 2005 Draft at brewpub. Poured a hazy dark amber with an average head that was lasting and produced excellent lacing. Moderate hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Heavy hoppy citrus flavor with a moderate bitter finish. Good brew. gearbike (390), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA Oct 18, 2005 1 pint glass on draft at the brewery.
Light orange color with a small head. A little on the light tasting side with some grapefruit flavor. Could be a a little bit hoppier. Brad (364), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA Jul 14, 2005 On tap: Pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head that is fully lasting. Amazing lacing. Aromas were mostly the fruity hops (oranges and lemons) as the glass emptied you were able to get a better sense of the malt as well. Flavor was fruity hops at first (grapefruit, lemons) and finished far spicier (pepper). Lots of hops in this one, finishes as biiter as you would expect, and quite dry.
