Commercial Description:
First brewed at Bosteels, transfered to the Champagne region of France were it is treated much like a champagne with the bottles inverted and the yeast expunged and bottle recorked.

750 ml bottle. The pour is a clear light yellow color with strong carbonation that creates a large fluffy white head that lasts like an energizer battery (a small one anyway). The aroma is an interesting mixture of champagne, apple cider, slight alcohol, white grapes, and a slight medicinal quality. The flavor again has similarities to champagne. There is a sweetness throughout. Qualities that stand out are white grapes, apples, alcohol, and some Belgian funk. Lighter feel and a little oily as it goes down. Interesting to say the least.

Cracked open a bottle with friends for my 24th birthday. Very champagne like in appearance; crystal clear straw body, fine beading lending to an enormous fluffy white head in my flute. Big complex nose, sweetness apparent; citrus, apricots, grape, honey, with a great deal of spice and obvious alcohol. Effervescent carbonation, sharp on the tongue, richness is apparent with a slight sticky texture and warming finish. Body is sweet, very sweet, maybe too sweet! Ripe summer tropical and stonefruits; apricot and banana seem to come to mind, grainy malt and honey, finish lingers with clove and caramond(says my friend) and an overlying boozy element. Delicious beer, well worth a try just the once. A bit overly sweet and boozy to compare with the best of the blond Belgian strongs though.

Rating #39from the european beer festival 2008. Golden look with a bubbling white head. Heavy carbonation. Sweet fruity aroma along with champagne and spices. Light bitterness in the flavor and also has some chamoagne sweetness. Not really my type of beer.

Bottle. Pours clear pale piss with a off white head. Herbal & spicy. Coriander & cinnamon. Some fruityness - grapes. Warm & sweet. Well made - though very one dimensional!
