From bottle shared by awiseman. Nose is bready and spicey. Pours translucent goldend with small white head. Tastes of cloves and other spices (cinnamon perhaps?). Sharp and bubbly. Gotta be honest, i’m not a big fan. If there’s one think we learned from WWII, its that Belgians has no business in Champagne...

Bottle from Kahns. Pours crystal clear golden topped with white bubbles. Nose is spicy belgian yeast. Flavor is dry, earthy, spicy belgian notes in a bubbly champagne form. A little odd and rough, not quite what I was hoping for, but special none-the-less.

Really blurs the line between beer and champagne. A complex, incredibly refreshing beer that I wish I had served at my wedding for the toast instead of champagne. Light in color, a bit sour, and clean. Lots of bright ripe fruits. Delicious!

Wow, the alcohol is really well hidden here. Excellent choice for New Years. Shared between two. Aroma is fruity, sweet, effervescent and citrusy. Flavor is bright and crisp and clean, fruit, citrus, peach and grape. Finishes clean and dry and the carbonation is not too overwhelming.

Bottle from Cavie through a birthday gift. Pours clear yellow with a very fizzy, thin white head. Aroma is champagne, strawberry, banana, and yeast. Taste is kinda yeasty, very fruity, alcoholic, and medicinal.

Birthday present with big thanks to a good friend. Clear golden ale. Lovely to see this. Very nice smell of banana and citrus flavoring. Lovely citrus flavoring. Fantastic flavoring. Quite nice but a little dry. This is very nice.

Bottle from Cavie. Smells like a wheat and has light golden color. Very carbonated and kind of bitter.

25 and 2/5 ounce bottle. Pours a sparkly yellow with a huge ivory head that collapses quickly. Aroma has a lot of light fruit, citric acid, pretty hoppy. Very reminicent of a good tripel. Flavor is very sweet throughout, surprisingly boozy as well. The fruits are now subdued, with the exception of one vinous white grape element that is present in the middle and end. Very unique, that white grape flavor in this opus. Lighter viscosity, spritzy finish. Very enjoyable one-time experience, considering the price. Overall, very good to excellent.
