Commercial Description:
Silicon Blonde Ale is a full-bodied ale. This ale is a smooth mix of lightly roasted malts, subtle hop bitterness, and English yeast. This creamy and exceptionally drinkable ale pairs well with savory, spicy and rich foods.

On tap at the brewery on Beer Friday. Golden-blond color with a white head. Aroma of grain and pale malt. Flavor is somewhat grainy and slightly pilsner-like in a way with grassy hops, maybe a little caramel malt thrown in too. Not bad for the style, but definitely not "full-bodied" as they say it is. Medium-bodied at best.

Draft at the brewery. It was actually an amber pour, not blond, and it smelled of sweet caramel malt along with some grainy malt found in blond ales. Flavor was just like a grainy blond mixed with an amber ale... quite strange and just not very good. Some hops in the finish. Missed the style.

On tap, under the name of Nola’s Voodoo Brew at Nolas in Palo Alto, CA. Light brown color, minimal head, not much aroma to speak of . Nice rich carmel malt flavor, a little hops. Went well with the Creole Shrimp I had with it, and would also go well with other traditional New Orleans dishes, as it stands up to spicy dishes. Nice brew.

A nice beer. Went down smooth. Had on tap and it poured well and had a very nice flavor. Well worth a ry.

This was a pretty decent brew. A good amount of malt and light flowery hops are present in the aroma and flavor. Is a bit on the sweet side. Has quite a good mouthfeel considering the style, good body and smooth.

amber color, faintly cloudy. thin off white head that has medium last and average lacing. very weak nose, honeyish and faint floral/straw. very slick mouthfeel, medium to high carbonation. mild sweet maltiness and light balanced hop. minimal aftertaste.
