Courtesy of butters and maniac! Pretty sweet to finally hit Arkansas. Pale gold, slight head. Slight sweet wheat aroma, with a faint grassy note. Flavor is thin wheat, sweet, and some grass. Just sort of OK.

Bottle… Clear yellow ale with a mid-sized, wispy, white head. Good retention. Soapy, citrus aroma. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Almost perfectly balanced. Nice toffee, honey, moderate bitterness and an insinuation of pale grains. Finishes with a kiss of honey and then dries out. Bottle provided by headbanger!

(bottle) pale gold with small white head. Strong aroma of honey - like honey roasted nuts. Flavor is wheat, honey, grassy hops finish.

Pour is clear golden yellow with a thin white head...very grainy aroma...thin mouthfeel and very watery...lightly sweet flavor, but overall just grainy...

A pleasant lager, and not what I was expecting. The honey comes through more on the nose than on the palate. It does do a nice job of balancing out the grassy hops for a pleasantly warming sensation, making a beer that goes down smooth and is by no means aggressive. As I say, pleasant, but nothing to go out of your way to try.
