Dec 11, 2009 From lithy via trade. The pour was an attractive ruby and copper color with a one-finger tall white to off-white head. The aroma was mostly rich malts with some light spice and a touch citrus. The flavor was lightly spiced malts and a metallic flavor towards the finish. The mouthfeel was thin. Close, but a tad out of whack.

Nov 1, 2009 Dark red-brown, light tan head. Deep caramel aroma, toasty bread and apples. Liight spice and grassy hop notes. Taste is sweet, caramel, light cocoa and chocolate notes, sweet.

Apr 11, 2009 Bottle poured a beige head that barely laced. Body was clear copper brown. Aroma and flavor were toast and caramel. Finish had a hint of hops and some caramel.

Mar 12, 2009 Sampled on draft. Poured a clear amber/red color with a one finger, bubbly, tan head. The aroma was caramel malt mainly, with hints of earthy hops. The flavor was caramel and nuts, with a slight earthy finish. Thought this was a pretty good beer.
