A Bold Smooth Irish Red Ale. This Irish style ale is brewed with a rich blend of malts to give it a deep red full body and generous amounts of Willamette and Fuggle hops for a wonderful aroma and taste.

Bottle from Bman1113VR. Reddish brown color with a hazy body. Nose is fresh malt and brown sugar. Taste is malty and there is some chocolate chips. Actually not bad.

Reddish-plum color. No head whatsoever. Sweet, caramel, dark fruit nose (raisins). Smooth entry with somewhat carbonated mouth with raisiny-caramel, mildly bitter finish. A bit thin. The alcohol is slightly noticeable.

Shared by turdferguson. Pours a copper red with a fizzy light tan head. The nose and flavor are both pretty sweet, grainy, very little depth. Very little of anything pleasing for that matter. One dimensional.

Bottle from Bman1113VR. Thanks Andrew! Aroma and flavor were what I expected, light toasted malt some subtle sweetness, a bit metalic in the finish. Not the best.

GABF 2008. The guy pouring this beer said it had been at every GABF since the festival started. I wonder if that’s true? Clear copper penny amber. Bready caramel aroma. Earthy caramel palate, medium woody bitterness.
