Commercial Description:
A Bold Smooth Irish Red Ale. This Irish style ale is brewed with a rich blend of malts to give it a deep red full body and generous amounts of Willamette and Fuggle hops for a wonderful aroma and taste.

GABF 2004: Clear light brown copper with a thick creamy head. Aroma is bland with a touch of toasted malt buried beneath. Corny, lightly toasted malty body finishes dry and semi-bitter. Not very good, but smooth and drinkable, so I guess I’m saying it’s a middle of the road Irish red. This Arkansas beer is better than I had expected.

Regular syrupy amber ale aroma. Somewhat smokey. Bright and crisp, but without a good flavor profile. Some caramel, maple, vanilla, similar to a brown ale.

Large off white head. A fairly dark but clear brown color. Nice malty nose. Has walnuts and some molasses. The taste is malty with bread crust and some nuts. The flavor is a little sweet with roasted caramel. A decent brew and drinkable, but a little bitter in the aftertaste. Not bad.

12oz via bman1113vr. Poured into my 12th strong ale taster glass, shared with my girlfriend. Pours deep amber with a tan head. Nose is sweet with subdued malts. Taste is higher on the sweet tones than the malt tones. A decent red, nothing special though.
