| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 7, 2005 Sampled from bottle. Pours clear amber with a frothy, light-tan head. Aroma is subtle, sweet malts. There is a sour note that is almost undetectable. Flavor is slightly sweet and malty (bready, caramel) and just a hint of roastiness. Earthy hops present as well. Very tastey! Medium-bodied, moderately carbonated. All three diamond bear beers are well-made and a must try if you are in their distribution area. aobecksy (661), Middle of no where, Ohio, USA
