| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2006 Standard red-brown appearance, clear without much head as served. Solid floral hop aroma with substantial balance of malts, more akin to a well balanced English pale ale than an over the top hopped American. A little bit thin, needs warmth to blossom, very drinkable and sessionable. (on tap, Brewski, Fayetteville, AR) iowaherkeye (1873), Los Angeles, California, USA

Pours a hazy copper with a moderate light yellow tan head. Aroma of earthy and floral hops and caramel malts. Flavor is caramel malts, mild floral hops, and raisins. Pretty well balanced, mild bitterness in the finish. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Nothing really exciting--not bad for what it is. SledgeJr (2972), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Has a deep musty malty flavor, like it came from Shakespeare’s cellar. wonderful. thin on the tongue. good after-hops. After the taster I drank a pint of it and enjoyed it thoroughly. the best of the three that I tried from this brewer, in my opinion. I appreciated the unique mix of flavors; they are balanced well... like a late spring meadow of flavor! LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA

Nice caramel malt aroma to it, very sugary. It has a bit of skunk or bad water taste to it, but for the most part its a normal malty brew. Aight, for arkasas. ElBorracho (472), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Very weak sour/stale malt flavor with a very weak lightly floral hop finish. I wonder what they MEANT to brew?
Rerated May 17th, 2006: Still tastes like dirty dishwater!
