355 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a dense white head. Malty nose with slight citrus notes. Medium body. Malt sweetness is nicely offset by an adequate hop profile.

Bottle - Amber coloer with a big white head. A slight metallic taste. Malty sweetness that I believe could have been helped with the addition of more hops to offset the sweetness. Overall pretty good.

Nowhere near as bad as I had expected, in fact it’s pretty good. Nice amber color and foamy, white head. Definite hop presence both in aroma and taste (but not overpowering like many hoppy pale ales of today). There is also some malt sweetness to it, but again not in an overpowering way.

Little to no head, which is surprising when you sip the beer and get smacked with the carbination. Once you get past that, the flaovrs are fine.

On tap at the Flying Saucer, Little Rock, Arkansas. Poured copper, not much head. Nose was citrus and the flavor was spicy, Decent hop finish. Refreshing, but nothing spectacular.

Bottle courtesy of Cornfield. Thanks, Cornfield for hooking me up with my first Arkansas beer! Sweet, hoppy aroma more befitting of an APA than an EPA. Nice. Hazy copper/dark peach with slow, thorough carbonation and a lasting, average-sized layer of creamy/frothy head. Excellent lace. The promising aroma doesn’t quite translate to the beer. The hop in the nose doesn’t really materialize. A somewhat harshy peppery aspect prevails. Short finish. Not enough sweetness to offset the pepper. Lacks some balance. Overall not a bad brew; just doesn’t come together.
