Indra (1815), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Mar 30, 2008 12oz. bottle. Aroma of lightly roasty, very faintly sweet caramel maltiness and brown sugar, combined with a hint of cedar, lemon and fruity hop and some slight earthiness in the background. Clear medium-dark amber color with a slighter, subsiding head. Flavor is fairly well-balanced throughout, with a sweet, lightly toasty, nutty malt character and very lightly bitter, spicy, citric hop profile. Some lingering hints of tea leaves and dark malt sugars. Smooth and low in effervescence on the palate with a light-medium body. Very drinkable Pale. Thanks to Dansting for the chance to try a beer from Arkansas, and a pretty tasty one at that.
Shag (1749), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Jun 21, 2008 This one poured a copper color with a moderate head. The aroma contains some citrus as well as caramel. The flavor is rather malty with some grapefruit showing through. Overall a simple but nice pale ale. KDorgan12 (151), Memphis, Tennessee, USA Jun 10, 2008 Bottle - AR. Poured a light brown. Aroma and flavor where much more malty than any pale I;ve had before. It may be the english style but it still caught me off guard. Hops were fighting to get through the maltiness but loosing the battle. IMO - not a balanced beer. phishpond417 (1110), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 2, 2008 It had a wonderful aroma and a beautiful copper coloured body. The presense of citrusy hops was delightful but not too much. The bouquet was full of nuttiness. A very clean and refreshing finish. flyfisher4st (2), Conway, Arkansas, USA does not count May 23, 2008 Significant difference between tap and bottle.
medium bitterness, light sweetness, nuts, spruce, clove, leaves, cloudy, aminimal head, white foam, rcasta (232), El Salvador May 14, 2008 Arthur’s wine cellar with Sandy, Mike and Jessy Baracat. It is an excellent place for rib-eye with a great atmosphere. Then Cyrus Meritage and Grgich Hills Cabernet to top the night. Not bad for Arkansas.
