The nose is fairly strong milk chocolate cocoa with some hints of light coffee. The taste has pretty much the same character. IT starts out as strong milk chocolate that gives way to some ashy coffee roast. There is also a little bit of English Walnuts. A decent roasty brew that is slightly thin, certainly on the brown porter side of things.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 21, 2009 Labeled as Paradise porter. Pored an opaque brown hue with a freakishly large frothy tan head, good retention. . Aroma was of cocoa notes and caramel mixed with a roasted quality to it. Flavor seemed to have a good roasted presence to it but finish with a great chocolate note. Finish was dry.
