Commercial Description:
In celebration of the opening of the Clinton Presidential Library, Diamond Bear Brewing Company introduced its seasonal beer, Presidential IPA. This in beer terms is a "big beer" with lots of flavor. This India Pale Ale has a rich copper color and full body which delivers exceptional body, balanced by a high hop rate. This beer has great aroma with generous amounts of cascade hops to stimulate all of the senses. This is truly a beer fit for a head of state!

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of byaeger. Pours a clear amber with a lacing, off-white head. Fresh - if not exactly overpowering - peachy hop aroma. Medium body, sweet malt and fruit with peachy hop accents. Mouthfeel is a little tired. Subdued bitterness. My first Arkansas beer - thanks Brian! 221109

clear copper, wispy beige head, streaks of lace, strong earthy hop aroma obscures a hint of sweet caramel malt, lots of hop flavor, very dry with only a trace of sweetness, long bitter finish, starts to grow on you after a while

Cloudy amber with a tiny white head. Hoppy aroma with grapfruits and pine. Loads of hops in the flavour with pine, grapefruits and malty notes. Finished dry and bitter. Nice one.

12oz bottle-pours a dissipating foamy light tan head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt/caramel/toffee, pine/resin. Taste is medium malt/caramel/toffee, pine/resin/herbal hops. Not quite my taste. Became less enjoyable as I progressed. Thanks Russ Powell. Reading the previous 2 raters comments, and knowing them to be good Americans, I must guess that I had a bottle with some issues. Rating stands, but would like to rerate.

Bottle… Cloudy golden ale with a large, frothy, off-white head. Lengthy, tight retention. Fairly restrained, breadsy, biscuit aroma with light to medium-roast malts and earthy, citric hops. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with moderate carbonation. Very well-balanced … moderate earthy hop bitterness and moderate caramel malt sweetness. The finish is bittersweet with a whisper of salt at the tail end. Thanks to headbanger for providing the bottle!
