RSRIZZO (994), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Jun 22, 2008 (Bottle courtesy of Headbanger). Aroma is malty with a little yeast and just a hint of hops. Color is a hazy orange gold with good carbonation and thin head. Taste is bold and hoppy. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a rich feel. Finish comes in malty and sweet with a bread like yeast flavor then a mild citrus and an even bitterness. After taste is hop flavor with the sweet building up a little before leaving you with a bitterness on the back of your tongue. This is a very good IPA, its bold and rich without overdoing it.
decaturstevo (1193), decatur, Tennessee, USA Aug 20, 2008 Clean orange pour with off white head and lace. Sweet malt and decent hops aroma. Semi sweet maltiness with a good finishing bitter. Good carbonation and mouthfeel. A better than average IPA. SpringsLicker (1817), Tennessee, USA Aug 14, 2008 Music City Brewer’s Fest 2008.
Clear medium amber.
Hop aroma supported by light malt.
Lightly bitter with a smooth dryness. HomeBrewHawk (126), De Soto, Kansas, USA Jun 29, 2008 Thanks to Dansting for this one. 12oz bottle served in a shaker pint. Poured a hazy gold with a thick head of off white bubbles. Pine/citrus hop aroma with a little caramel malt as it warms. On the malty side of the IPA fence, though there is a decent hop bite in the finish. A little buttery flavor, maybe an older bottle? Decent IPA, fairly drinkable. phishpond417 (1418), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 2, 2008 This beer was courtesy of Brett :) I found this was a nice smooth, medium bodied IPA. Pours a clear orange colour with plenty of head and decent lacing. Plenty of grapefruit on the nose, mouthfeel is creamy finishes long and smooth.
