Clear perfect amber color with a small capping of smooth lightly tarnished yellowed foam. Big blobs of lace stick close to the top of the liquid.
Aroma is mostly grassy and tingey with grains and a light perfume of cardboard and butter ascents.
Taste is more or less again quite grassy with a tender piney sided bite and pithy grapefruit/lemon nudge rounding off some toasted portions. Trace cardboard fluff and leafy hopped dryness float about the finish as it renders leftovers of pine and pithy citrus.
Body is fairly firm with a lessened medium girth. Shallow finish, kinda where it loses its way is the finish as its just kinda there, but impressionable enough to keep some interest in a fluffy textured hopped up leafyness, grassy, citrusy mildness.
A pretty standard IPA that’s abit above an average for the most part. Won’t be a problem drinkin’ more.

Light light unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, citrus - citrus, old hop flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091122]

Nov 23, 2009 Cloudy amber with a tiny white head. Hoppy aroma with grapfruits and pine. Loads of hops in the flavour with pine, grapefruits and malty notes. Finished dry and bitter. Nice one.

Nov 23, 2009 12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a small and chalk white head. Aroma is mild orange fruity to grapefruity hops. Mild orange fruity and light bitter grapefruity flavoured. Good bitterness coming through into the finish. Ends dry.

Appearance - deep copper, almost opaque, very fluffy head, fantastic lacing;
Taste - faint malt sweetness up front, basic hop back, sharp tangy finish;
Palate - extremely overpowering crispness, good body;
Overall - crisp mouthfeel completely kills a large majority of flavor, so much potential yet so disappointing.

Medium body, sweet malt and fruit with peachy hop accents. Mouthfeel is a little tired. Subdued bitterness. My first Arkansas beer - thanks Brian! 221109

Nov 17, 2009 Thanks to ericandersnavy for this one. Pours slightly hazy orangey amber with a two finger foamy beige head. Aromas of sweet caramel and some floral/citric hop. Medium plus body with really foamy carbonation. Flavor is caramel with a fair amount of not too bitter hop. Pretty flavorful. The not too bitter gets much more so as the beer drains away. Like it.

Nov 16, 2009 Obtained in trade. Thanks. Copper color pour with a medium lasting off white head. Sweet caramel and malt aroma with a touch of honey. The malt is still present in the flavor but there is some amount of cardboard and metallic notes that become distracting. The hops are a bit resinous I suppose but it is not as forward a flavor like you would expect from an IPA. Everything is well balanced and it is more like a session brew. Medium body and mouth feel. An easy drinker that I imagine would be a great everyday beer if you liked by the brewery.

Nov 12, 2009 Bottle - thanks Jordan. Ruddy orange color with a thin beige head. Malty aroma with citrus, caramel, and faded hops. Tastes heavily malted with more faded (than lively) hops. Lightly bitter in the tail.
