Diamond Bear Southern Blonde

Sampled at the 8th Annual Music City Brewer’s Festival. Clear yellow, white head. Aroma is sweet malt, musty. Taste is sweet malts, corn, grassy finish.

Bottle from ericandersnavy; helping Ratebeerians to tick Arkansas. Slightly hazy gold color with a slight white head. A light fruit aroma. Medium body with fizzy/frothy carbonation. It seems to have citrus; enough fruit to rather subdue the malt. Seems to finish with grassy bitter. That’s the continuation, something like a noble hop bitter. But the fruit is in every sip. It’s hot today, so this is quite nice.

bottle thanks to boomer0813. poured a clear light gold with a thin fading white head. aroma of sweat, wheat, wet hay, and canned corn. flavor was wet grains and corn. light body and high carbonation. i almost agree with bman. if this wasnt so bad i might be able to forget it.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy and boomer0813. Pours with a hazed golden body and a small, fading white head. Aroma of corn, soil and honey. Taste is astringent, bitter with corn notes. Fizzy and dry. Very forgettable.

Thanks ericandersnavy. Pours is a very hazy gold with a one-ish finger white head. The nose is sweet, bready malt, grassy. . The flavor is corny, metallic bitterness, grassy/hay flavor, sweet malt. Drinkable, more hop bitterness than need be.

Sampled on draft. Poured a clear, pale yellow color with a two finger white head. The aroma was grainy, with grassy notes. The flavor was mainly grain, with an earthy finish. This wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad.
