Draft at the brewery. Yellow with white head, solid lacing. Toffee and vanilla notes with touch of citrus aroma. Tastes sweet up front then a slow long bitter. Wish it were a little drier.

Light aromas of sweeter caramel and toffee. Earthy/ citrus hops as well. Amber pour with a thin head. Moderately sweet malty flavors with medium earthy hops in the finish. More sweet than hoppy. Nothing to write home about, but not unpleasant.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty nutty caramel aroma. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with some nutty hints and some hints of hops. Has a slightly sweetish malty caramel finish.

On draught at the brewpub in Mukilteo, Washington. Pours a clear dark copper amber brew with a thick creamy off-white head that has some nice retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of multi-grain malt, some light fruit, dry iced tea hops with some light biscuit in the background. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of multi-grain malt, dry leafy hops and some fruity character. Finish is semi-dry, mildly bitter with some metallic texture. Almost identical to the Irish ale except with some mild bitterness.

draft @ brewery - clear and reddish brown; slight white head; nose a little on the weak side, but aromas of dry malt and sugar; pretty tasty with a sweet finish; overall, on the sweet side for an ESB, but i like that and thought this was great

Cask at DK. Pours clear amber with a white ring of foam. Nuts, pine and peach in the taste. Dry and spicy finish. Pretty solid example of the style.
