| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 2, 2008 On draught at the brewpub in Mukilteo, Washington. Pours a semi-hazy golden amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring with some spotty lacing. Aroma of multi-grain malt, some grassy and citrus hops, a touch of pear and some grapefruit zest. Taste is medium bodied, very little carbonation with flavors of caramel and multi-grain malt, some citrus zest, grassy hops and a touch of dry leaves. Finish has a mild bitterness that slowly disappears with a citrus aftertaste. NOt as dry bitter as most other bitter beers but still very refreshing. Ibrew2or3 (2761), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 1, 2008 On tap @ the brewpub. Pours deep clear gold with copper core and with an impressive bright white head dishing out some sheet lacing. The aroma is mild with a malty sweetness coupled to fresh picked citrus and spice hops. Yes, the taste is fresh and crisp with a quick pulse of malty sweetness followed by spice to mostly grapefruit hop bitterness. Midway the malts sweeten the deal creating a tangelo to brief sweet orange juice sensation. This is very refreshing and plain old yummy. anders37 (4691), Malmö, Sweden
