pantanap (1332), Chicago, Illinois, USA Nov 4, 2009 22oz bottle by means of megamaltman... pours a semi-hazy yet somewhat transparent medium amber brown with a moderate white soapy head... aroma of some pretty grassy and earthy hops and to a lesser extent citrusy but very light .... flavors were less enticing with an emphasis on a grassy, earthy, light citric hops in addition to a little herbal tea. bitterness was somewhat lacking although some came through, albeit barely, in the finish....would love to try it on tap but for now i consider it a pass. jbye4334 (652), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 15, 2009 (bomber from riversideAK). Pleasant grapefruit/cascade hop nose of moderate intensity. Flavor is heavy on the side of grapefruit, citrus/orange with a simple, pale malt base. Ample yet smooth bitterness level. Not much pine hop character. Medium to slightly light bodied with moderate carbonation. Very drinkable. I had very high hopes for this one and came away slightly disppointed but overall, still a very good IPA. Birdiebeagle (780), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 22, 2009 Bottle Trade with Scrizz.
