Fresh dough aromas. Bready and yeasty flavors and esters swirl about. Great balance. Moderate bitterness in the finish. Great aftertaste, with lingering flavors of cookie dough and pine. One tasty IPA. dukefan (173), Dallas, Texas, USA

Incredible musty and grainy sour hop aroma... nice, but a little one dimensional aroma. Thinner ody than expected, decent sweet flavor, a little pale, need to have a deeper hop presence, but what is there in a piney and musty wood flavor is nice.
Rating confirmed during visit to brewery in 2009. Numbers remain the same. BückDich (4854), McCall, Idaho, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 27, 2004 I could drink this beer all day, never getting tired of it. Cloudy amber body with floaties; off-white head that leaves lovely lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some caramel. Medium-full body, light chewiness. The bitterness is moderate but does not linger. Lovely beer -- doesn’t try to do too much, focusing on flavor rather than hitting you over the head. Too bad more PNW brewers don’t take this route. jeffc666 (1895), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
