Pours a clear dirty orange with a small white head. Aroma of piney and grassy hops with nice malt. Flavor has a little more bitterness, some sweet tropical fruits, and crackery malt. Very tasty and I’m glad I got to have a few pints of this! One of the best IPAs I’ve had.

Floral hops and citrus on the nose. Lots of carbonation. Very fruity with floral, earthy hops and became a little sour with the bitterness. Was then balanced by a very grainy finish. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 5, 2008 Thanks to bvc for the growler! Poured hazy, deeper orange with a well-retained short cpa of white head. The aroma was malty with honey, molasses, and richer caramel notes.. floral and darker resiny fruit accents.. just a hint of green apple deeper down. The flavor opened with caramel, honey, and brown sugar notes, with floral and earthy bitterness rolling in.. a little sharper on the back-end with nice balance between the thick sweetness and moderate bitterness. Rather heavily-bodied with lower carbonation on the palate.. maltier than expected, but the hop profile was nice.. the green apple re-emerged, and I’m wondering if it’s a slight growler-related infection. Either way, tasty and very drinkable. darn1207 (563), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
