omhper (10140), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 22, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Hazy pale amber. Vast lychee/grapefruit aroma. Dryish with gently soft mouthfeel. Plenty of juicy hops dominate until the massively bitter finih sets in. Despite the hops it’s very drinkable. A world class IPA! I’m hard pressed to remember any IPA I liked this much! Oakes (6784), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 3, 2003 Updated: Feb 24, 2005Cloudy tan-copper; rousing hop aroma - cedar, grapefruit, orange. Creamy start, wonderfully smooth hoppiness flows over the palate. High woody factor, but no earth, pointing to all US hops and minimal quantities of crystal malts. Biscuits, wood, grapefruit collide. Luscious, and finishing with a lot of bitterness. argo0 (6018), Washington DC, USA Jul 27, 2004 I could drink this beer all day, never getting tired of it. Cloudy amber body with floaties; off-white head that leaves lovely lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some caramel. Medium-full body, light chewiness. The bitterness is moderate but does not linger. Lovely beer -- doesn’t try to do too much, focusing on flavor rather than hitting you over the head. Too bad more PNW brewers don’t take this route. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 12/07/2004

duff (5403), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jun 23, 2004 Tap@The College Inn, Seattle. Seattle seems to be the place for good IPA’s. This is a cracker of a beer. Full flavoured. Caramelly malts, lightly buttery, nice and soft. Lots of hops, lychee, piney hops. Seems like the combo of caramel and lychee wouldn’t work, but it certainly does in this beer. This is the real deal. Bitter finish.
