SuzyGreenberg (934), Seattle, Washington, USA Apr 10, 2008 sample @ cask fest - cloudy amber with aroma mix of citrus and sweet hops, candy and wood; not very bitter, but you can feel the strength; dry finish; decent t4h2c0 (63), seattle, USA Mar 21, 2008 Nice and hoppy, stings the tounge a little but still has some good malt backbone to balance it out. Best out of cask, had it off cask with oak chips added at WA brewers fest and that version kicked ass. Slight oak flavor and went down smooth and easy with a lingering hop finish. Good beer but random one off versions off it are great!! riversideAK (1583), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jan 3, 2008 Dark orange with a fluffy white head. Northwest Hops aroma - citrus, pine, funk mixed in with some grainy toasted malt. Earthy bitterness is balanced by sweet caramel malts. It almost has a dirt like character to it; in both bitterness and body. It is kind of chewy. It also has a little noticeable warmth. goldtwins (3734), Nesconset, New York, USA Oct 30, 2007 GABF 2007: Poured an almost clear dark golden color with a small off-white head. the aroma was malty to start with citrus underneath. The flavor also had a malty start with citrus running through. Dry finish and moderately bitter that grows after you swallow. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Oct 21, 2007 Name: Shipwreck
