| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Nice and cloudy, tall sparse white head. Little banana/clove thing going on, not as intense as imports, but respectable. Nearly spot on, clean, fruity, lots of banana, almost seems turned though. Still on the edge of good and I enjoyed it. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 19, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy gold with a thick white head. Has an odd flavor of boiled vegetables. Yuck. Thin in body. This is not true to style. The aroma is quite metallic. This beer is nothing like a German Hefe. boFNjackson (1273), Portland, Oregon, USA

Aroma of bananas, cloves, and yeasty bread. Tart citrus flavors, with yeast and bread-like malt. Not bad but far from standing out. I’ve had worst American style wheats. theisti (1660), Leawood, Kansas, USA

Pour is a murky brown golden, nice settling building up a one inch off white head. Aroma of clove, wheat, banana and some faint spicy ginger. Nice Hefe nose. Taste is the clove, ginger and wheat, though not quite as soft and balanced as the nose. Pretty dirty in the aftertaste. Palate is medium bodied, dry on the finish, drinkable. Overall, decent enough, thanks Brandon! Skyview (4045), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

Pours a semi-hazy golden pale brew with an average white head that slowly dissipates. Aroma of banana esters, a touch of citrus zest, some apple and a touch of clove. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of mild banana esters, some wheat and multi-grain golden malt, a touch of citrus hops and cloves. Finish is a tad thin with a fast disappearing hefe aftertaste.
