Pours a light amber color with fairly thin white head. Aroma of dough but a bit sour. Flavor is not really a sweetness you would be looking for, but that same sour doughiness. At least it leaves the palate fairly quickly.

smell of malt, caramel, earth, some hops.
taste is sweet, hops, citrus, some caramel, touch of pine, ends on the bitter side.

Jul 8, 2008 12oz from a Dick’s Variety Pack bikesandbeer and I bought in Oregon.. Pours amber with a 1 finger tan head. Nose has a hint of sweet malt. Taste is very light some what malty, eh.

Apr 29, 2008 Poured amber with a one inch head that dimished rapidly. Modest lacing.
Taste is malty and bitter. There is a certain sour aftertaste that made this amber different. Well balanced overall with a dry astringent finish. Easy drinker. Not bad for an Amber Ale. Could be a bit sweeter though for the type.

Nov 26, 2007 I could go into the details of this beer, but look at the commercial description - "Classic Amber Ale". It’s not that it’s bad, because it isn’t, its just, y’know, an amber ale.
