SuzyGreenberg (934), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 3, 2008 12 oz. bottle - pours clear, pale gold with thin white head and plenty of carbonation pumping away; aromas of apple juice and white grapes; not much rye, but has a grainy feel to the nose; crisp and very drinkable with light malts and thin body; rye comes mostly at the finish
vulcanmeister (51), La Grande, Oregon, USA Aug 22, 2008 12 oz bottle pours a pale amber liquid with a very minimal white head. Smell is very subtle grainy with dash of floral. Initial taste is crisp sharp and pleasingly bitter. Mouthfeel is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is first a nutlike bitterness but fades to a very nice slightly floral note with a major overtone of citrusy bitterness that lingers on and on. Very pleasant to sip. stchloe (96), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 31, 2008 The rye compliments the hop additions to create a solid bitter full taste. If hop prices continue to rise, RyePAs may be an acceptable alternative. robforbes (708), Bremerton, Washington, USA Jul 25, 2008 pours a clear golden with a small white head.
