smell is of spice, brown sugar, caramel, some nuts.
taste is of spice, brown sugar, molasses, roasted nuts, touch of cocoa.

Jul 30, 2008 12oz from a sample pack bikesandbeer and i bought together. Pours brown with a 1 finger tan head. Nose is very sweet. Taste is sweet and malty. its better tan i expected it would be.

May 26, 2008 Received a 12-oz bottle via trade with 5000. Pours a semi-clear copper amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin off-white ring. Aroma of caramel malt, roasted nuts, a touch of yeast, and chocolate. Taste is medium bodied, a little over-carbonated with flavors of roasted caramel malt, a touch of chocolate, toffee and some flowery hops. Finish is a little metallic, semi-dry with some roasted caramel malt in the aftertaste that reveals a mild bitterness.

May 13, 2008 Updated: May 21, 2008Aromas of oats, pineapple, floral hops. Carmel and nutty malt, Faint toffee. Nose is sharply clean, like citrus.
Flavors of carmel and wheat. Roasted malt flavor is deeper than I expected. Well hopped for a brown as well. Unique, but not noteworthy.
Overcarbed palate, finish is sticky and slightly bitter.
