Commercial Description:
Corne du diable (French for "Horn of the devil") is a contemporary interpretation of the classic English India Pale Ale. This new style, born on the west coast of North America, is characterized by stronger and hoppier beers. The result is a red ale expressing caramel flavours coming from the malt, sharp bitterness and powerful hop aromas, thanks to dry hopping.

A little expensive at 5.50 for a 12oz. Floral hops, sweet notes throughout. Nice carbonation, crisp. A lot of fruity notes. Tangy hops, long lasting mild bitterness. Really great IPA.

Bottle@home, Apperance: Hazy orange with a white-yellowish lace. Aroma: Citric notes, Fruit, Caramel, Flowers (hops). Flavor: Grass, Citric notes, Caramel, Wood?, Exotic fruit (mango?). Palate: Nice light body with some acidity and a long lasting bitterness at the end. Plenty of carbonation too. A nice, balanced, IPA from Dieu Du Ciel. Wish i could get hold of more of these! Recommended!

Bottle. Pours a murky light brown with a huge, thick foamy tan head that subsides fairly quickly. Aroma of rich caramel malt, bitter hops, light citrus, and coffee grounds. Flavor of sweet caramel malt, iced tea, and slightly hoppy finish. Nice malty IPA.

Bottle. Aroma of earthy malt with nearly-burnt bread, coffee, toffee, dried fig. Tropical fruits poke through from time to time. Flavor a complex blend of bitter notes (grapefruit, pine) with distinctly sweet notes (passion fruit and other sweet fruits) along with that rich, earthy malt that dominates the nose for me. Very nice brew.

Flaske. Mørk orange øl, med et fint skumhoved. Ikke helt frisk men selvom den havde været frisk er humlen ikke helt i balance. Ikke en af de bedre IPA men bestemt drikbar.

From a 11.5oz brown bottle - Pours a slightly cloudy brownish/red. Average carbonation, very light lacing . Smells of strong bourbon. First sip is tangy bitter hops supported by a fine malty backbone. Great bitter finish. A fine showing from a great brewery.

Bottle at Orsted Olbarog. Cloudy brown, lasting beige. Hoppy, bit of acidity. It’s ok, good hop on finish. Hot hop not a lot of good malts. not a great DIPA. Not enough malts to underpin the hops.

11.5 oz. bottle from Sam’s Quik Shop. Very hazy brownish red color with a 2-finger head, decent retention and nice lacing. Big nutty, toffee malt aroma with some citrus hops. Citrus hops in the taste are very bitter with a nutty maltiness in the background. Medium body.
