badgerben (3586), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Aug 9, 2008 Copper color with a medium head. Solid orange and citrus aroma. Wow... strong malt backbone. Lots of caramel and almost bready. Toast? Plenty of citrus (orange and grapefruit) and enough bitterness that it’s not overly sweet, but very incredibly balanced. NomDeBeer (398), Maryland, USA Aug 9, 2008 Smells just like a fresh pink grapefruit. Clear dark amber/red color. Fluffy off-white head with some lacing. Very enjoyable and drinkable. joshwilfong (769), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Aug 7, 2008 reddish brown with nice off-white head. nice hoppy nose. flavor of some crystal malt, some nice hop bitterness with some huge flavor that is straight cascade, which obviously is nice, but adding a few different hop aspects would make the beer more complex and memorable. very good ipa though Beerdedone (1873), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 6, 2008 Sampled at 08 vt brewers fest.
