| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Bottled. Amber/burgundy coloured. Unclear. Dense ligth brown head. Aroma of pine, citrus, grass and caramel Flavour is sweet and piney. Has light fruits and a somewhat citric touch. Caramel is notable in flavour as well. Is medium bodied. Quite dry. Medium to strong bitterness in the end, but its countered well by a fresh sweetness. Very nice. WabashMan (801), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 27, 2008 I like this beer. But I’m afraid that it comes across as an "also ran" Alpha King, at three times the price. In so many ways it was similar to FFF AK, though it seemed all around softer. Good...but when I can get a sixer of AK for the price of two of these, it’s really no competition. GreenWall (53), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
