Commercial Description:
Corne du diable (French for "Horn of the devil") is a contemporary interpretation of the classic English India Pale Ale. This new style, born on the west coast of North America, is characterized by stronger and hoppier beers. The result is a red ale expressing caramel flavours coming from the malt, sharp bitterness and powerful hop aromas, thanks to dry hopping.

Bottled. Thanks to Anders Holmskär. Deep amber colour. Great hoppy aroma from tea, along with a bit of woody notes. Superb hop flavour with good bitterness and a bit of caramel. Woody, big, longlasting hop bitterness. Medium bodied.

12oz bottle. Clear deep orange with a medium head. Aroma of pine and floral hops with plenty of caramel malt.Taste was sweet caramel and perfume with an intensely bitter finish. A standard American IPA, but nothing here to justify the $5 pricetag.

Bottle. Cloudy, dark brown/copper pour with a lasting head. Oh, and did I mention this shit GUSHED ALL OVER MY FLOOR? -1. Flavor is chewy, bittered malts with lots of finishing hops. Caramel and margarine. Aroma has dank, flowery hops and some sage. Nothing too exciting here.

Bottle from jjpm74, as a bonus!!! Thanks John, I was too cheap to pick this up in PA. Pours a hazy amber orange with retentive off white head. Aroma of citrus (lemon, orange, tangerine) with some caramel malts hiding in the background. Medium bodied with an organic/earthy texture. Flavor of caramel, toasted malt, and wet grains that is countered by a huge, puckering grapefruit rind bitterness that carries through to the finish and lingers. Lots of dry hopping on this one,. An interesting take on the style and way out of balance as far as hops go- but I love hops so I don’t mind. Cheapdark would absolutely hate this stuff.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, nuts, wood, chocolate malts, caramel, and resin. Poured dark amber in color with a large, creamy, dense, tan head that lasted throughout. Hazy. Sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is lightly bitter. Tastes of hops, malts, caramel, resin, wood, and more hops. I do not detect the pine that most people seem to taste in this beer. Medium body. Chalky texture. Soft to average carbonation. Dry hoppy finish.

Bottle shared by mmtmatrix. A pretty nice surprise. Poured a nice copper color with a moderate off-white head that left some lacing. Aroma of flowery, earthy hops with some light citrus undertones. Moderate bitter, earthy entry leads into an earthy, flowery hop hit with some light citrus on the finish. Full on the palate with a nice bitter dryness. Nice.

Dark bronze color. Woodsy hop aroma, with hints of pine and spruce. Flavor is very woodsy, maybe some Centennial or Chinook, some lemon. Pretty pure & raw and quite nice and impressive.
